SiC Layer Animator lets you combine backgrounds and foreground characters across multiple layers, adjust each image's position and zoom, and animate camera zoom and horizontal or vertical movement. Fine-tune layer depth, character float, animation duration, easing, and output settings to create the illusion of depth from 2D artwork.

Import images or videos, arrange your scene from the farthest background to the foreground, customize your camera movement, preview your animation, and export your final composition as MP4 or WebM.

How to use it

​

Add your layers: Upload images or videos to the background and foreground slots. Use transparent PNGs when you want layers behind a character to remain visible.

​

Adjust each image: Select a thumbnail to change its zoom and X/Y position. Use the depth slider to control how much each layer moves with the camera.

​

Animate the camera: Set the starting and ending zoom and pan values. Adjust the duration, movement style, and character float to shape the animation.

​

Configure the output: Choose an aspect ratio, resolution, and frame rate for MP4.

​

Preview and export: Play the animation, make adjustments, then export as MP4 or WebM.

 

The tool runs locally in your browser and does not require external fonts, libraries, or a server. Export support depends on your browser; Chrome or Edge is recommended for MP4.

Note: The exported video is one flattened composition, not separate files for each layer.
